A small-batch spirit whose bottle had to look expensive in a bar lit by one candle.

The brief
Ember is poured in rooms that are deliberately too dark to read a label. The previous bottle had a beautiful one, and nobody had ever seen it.
We moved the identity into the glass: a long matte neck that swallows light, and a shoulder that lets the spirit glow through from below.
Bottle — the neck, which is where the light goes.
Detail — nothing printed, everything pressed.

The making
The neck is a soft matte black that kills reflection; the base is untreated so the liquid carries the colour. Backlit, the bottle becomes the light source.
The only printed element is on the back, where it does not compete.
